An infected adult spent time in Terminal 1<\/strong> on April 22\u201323 between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m., potentially exposing many travelers at one of the world\u2019s busiest airports. The person had received one dose of the MMR vaccine<\/span><\/span> but later developed a rash on April 25, and tests confirmed measles.<\/p>\n

The patient is now isolating at home. A second case was later identified in another adult from the same county in Illinois<\/span><\/span>, whose vaccination status is unknown. They sought treatment at a local hospital on April 28 and were quickly isolated.<\/p>\n

Officials urge anyone who may have been exposed to contact their healthcare provider and watch for symptoms as measles concerns continue to affect major U.S. airports.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
