Most cars have backup ways to unlock and start the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"208\" data-end=\"444\">First, remove the <strong data-start=\"226\" data-end=\"251\">hidden mechanical key<\/strong> inside the fob. Usually there\u2019s a small sliding button on the back that releases it. Use this key to unlock the door. If you don\u2019t see a keyhole, it may be hidden behind the door-handle cover.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"446\" data-end=\"875\">To start the car, try pressing the <strong data-start=\"481\" data-end=\"531\">dead key fob directly against the START button<\/strong> and push it.
