Savannah Guthrie made an emotional off-camera visit to Today<\/em>, thanking her coworkers for their support and for \u201ccaring about my mom as much as I do.\u201d She has been off-air since her 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie\u2014who has a heart condition\u2014was reportedly kidnapped in Tucson, Arizona, at the end of January. Authorities, including the Pima County Sheriff\u2019s Office and the FBI, have not released major leads.<\/p>\n

During her visit, Guthrie told her team, \u201cI\u2019m still standing\u2026 I still have hope\u2026 I don\u2019t know how to come back, but I don\u2019t know how not to.\u201d She confirmed she intends to return to the show, though she isn\u2019t sure when.<\/p>\n

Her colleagues described an emotional reunion, with team members praying together and expressing support. Dylan Dreyer led a prayer asking for a \u201cmiracle,\u201d while others said Guthrie remained her usual self\u2014strong, warm, and even joking despite the situation.<\/p>\n
