Federal prosecutors have charged two men under the new Take It Down Act for allegedly creating and distributing non-consensual AI-generated explicit images of women.<\/p>\n

The suspects, Cornelius Shannon and Arturo Hernandez, are accused of producing deepfake content involving both public figures and private individuals, which gained widespread online circulation.<\/p>\n

Officials say the case marks one of the first major uses of the law, highlighting growing concerns over AI misuse. If convicted, the defendants could face prison time and other penalties.<\/p>\n
