Authorities in southern Arizona confirmed that deputies found an abandoned gray Toyota Tacoma in a remote canyon about 30 miles north of the U.S.\u2013Mexico border during expanded search efforts tied to the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie<\/span><\/span>. The truck appeared deliberately concealed off a rugged dirt path, with disturbed gravel suggesting recent maneuvering.<\/p>\n

The vehicle\u2019s VIN identified its registered owner, though officials have not said whether it was registered to Nancy or an associate. Inside, forensic teams recovered a blister pack of cardiovascular medication consistent with Nancy\u2019s prescriptions, now undergoing fingerprint, DNA, and distribution analysis.<\/p>\n

Investigators also seized other unspecified \u201cconcerning\u201d items and processed the vehicle for prints, fibers, and biological evidence before towing it for further examination.
