Amanda reminds Alex of his forgotten wallet as he heads out, promising to finish work early for quality time. Later, she finds Alex’s phone and hears a strange voicemail from a boy calling him “Dad.” Suspecting infidelity, she calls Alex’s assistant, only to learn Alex isn’t at work. Amanda follows him and discovers Alex has a second family, including a son, Caleb. Heartbroken, Amanda confronts Alex, who admits his affair and offers a way out, but she refuses.
Later, Amanda learns that Dylan, her son, knew about the affair and had kept it from her. Distraught, Amanda uncovers evidence of Alex evading taxes and blackmails him, threatening to report him unless he returns to her. However, Dylan rejects her for using Alex’s actions to manipulate him. Amanda, feeling betrayed by both men, seeks revenge by hiring a hitman. The hitman, however, turns out to be an undercover cop, and Amanda is arrested.
As she is taken away, Alex and Dylan confront her, disappointed by her actions. Amanda, now facing the consequences, realizes the depth of her mistakes.
