I recently started studying for the GRE and quickly realized I hadn’t done real math in about nine years, so I’ve been relearning basics from scratch. When I came across a viral math puzzle that supposedly stumps many people, I saw it as a chance to test myself.
The problem looked simple at first, but I suspected there were hidden tricks, so I hesitated to dive in publicly.
