Late one quiet night, I heard a faint rustling outside my window. Uneasy, I called the police for reassurance.
To my surprise, the dispatcher said, “You already called.”
Confused, I explained that this was my first call. After a pause, he told me they had received an identical report from my number just minutes earlier—a noise at the window and a request for help.
The explanation made little sense, yet it felt less frightening than strangely meaningful, as if life had sensed the danger before I did. The dispatcher assured me that officers were already on their way.
By morning, everything looked peaceful and untouched. Nothing unusual was found, but the experience stayed with me.
Some moments never bring answers—only lessons. And sometimes, life whispers twice to make sure we’re listening.
