Kristi, a flight attendant, witnessed a romantic gesture on her plane—a man, Edwin, gave a woman, Isabella, a beautiful necklace. The next day, Kristi discovered Edwin was her mother’s fiancé, though he seemed suspiciously charming. She grew concerned when she realized he might be a scam artist.
