A Simple Act of Kindness
Henry, 30, lives alone in his childhood home after his mother’s passing. One rainy night, he offers shelter to Dorothy, a homeless woman in her late fifties or sixties. She accepts and stays in his garage, which Henry promises to clean.
The next morning, Henry’s girlfriend, Sandra, expresses concern, but Henry reassures her. Two days later, Henry finds the garage transformed: clutter gone, space cleaned, and Dorothy sitting at a table in a vintage dress. She reveals she was once an English literature professor before losing everything after a tragic accident.
