For nine years, I believed I was in a loving marriage with Nathan. We married young, and everything seemed great, especially after having our daughter, Ellie. But over time, Nathan’s criticism and neglect grew, and I felt our marriage crumbling. His behavior became more tolerable after a job offer in a new city, and we moved for a fresh start. However, things took a dark turn when Ellie came home upset, revealing Nathan was involved with her teacher, Miss Allen. After confronting Nathan, he admitted to the affair. I transferred Ellie to a new school and filed for divorce. While it’s painful, I’m focused on giving Ellie the love and security she needs.
