Dick Van Dyke Sheltered In Place In Malibu During L.A. Wildfires, No Senior Should Tolerate This

Legendary actor Dick Van Dyke, 99, and his wife Arlene Silver, 53, are staying at their Malibu home despite Southern California wildfires. Arlene shared via Instagram Live that, while many nearby homes have burned, their main residence remains safe. Their guest house had a minor fire, but damage was limited.

Pacific Palisades, their coastal community, was hit hard by the Palisades Fire. Their Malibu home is currently without power and Wi‑Fi, but a gas generator and camping setup help them cook, charge devices, and stay warm. Arlene emphasized that Van Dyke, familiar with wildfire threats, remains comfortable and well-cared for there.

Just before turning 99, Van Dyke had to evacuate from their Los Angeles home during the Franklin Fire. Neighbors helped them exit safely. He later reassured fans on Facebook that they and their pets were fine.
