Dad Demands a DNA Test on His Baby as She Didn’t Look Like Him & His Sons

I’m Amber, 35. My life flipped when our daughter, Mya, arrived.

Randall and I had a happy life with our sons Ben (6) and Liam (5) in a new home—until the surprise of expecting a little girl changed everything. Randall was overjoyed, till our daughter was born. From the moment he held her, he seemed distant—as if she wasn’t his. I was devastated and exhausted, juggling a newborn and two energetic boys while feeling the husband I trusted had checked out.

Two months of cold silence ended when Randall demanded a paternity test, convinced Mya resembled my coworker George. Humiliated, I agreed. At our son’s birthday party, I revealed the results: Randall was indeed her father—100%.

He was crushed with guilt and sorry; his family was shocked. He finally held our daughter, tears streaming, but the trust had been shattered. I laid out conditions to rebuild us: move away, cut ties with his mother, and start therapy—together and alone. He agreed.

Months later—and now living elsewhere—I can say things are slowly healing, but the scars remain.
