A couple went to the hospital to deliver their baby when the doctor offered a new machine that could transfer some of the mother’s labor pain to the father. Curious, they agreed. At 10%, then 20%, and even 50%, the husband felt no discomfort. Finally, he told the doctor to transfer all the pain to him. The wife gave birth easily, nearly pain-free, and the couple was overjoyed.
