Prince William wanted his brother and Meghan to marry in ‘small village church’

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding was a fairytale moment. After Harry proposed to Meghan during a quiet evening at home, they tied the knot on May 19, 2018, with celebrities like George Clooney and Oprah in attendance. Meghan wore a Givenchy dress and the Queen Mary tiara.

Before the wedding, Harry and William had disagreements about the venue, with Harry initially suggesting Westminster Abbey, but William opposing it. Eventually, they settled on St. George’s Chapel at Windsor.

There were also debates about whether Meghan, a divorcee, should wear a veil, and William was upset Harry refused to shave his beard. Despite tensions, Harry’s big day was memorable. Harry chose his friend Charlie as his best man, rather than William, fueling speculation about their strained relationship. Nonetheless, the wedding was a spectacular event.
