I met Sophia 10 years ago and instantly knew she was special. We married a year later and had our daughter Lizzy five years ago. Life was busy but happy — until one day Lizzy mentioned a “new daddy” who picked her up from kindergarten and took her to the zoo. That didn’t make sense.
When I checked, I saw Sophia’s assistant Ben picking up Lizzy and taking her to Sophia’s office. Inside, I found Sophia and Ben kissing. She tried to deny it, but I ended our marriage then and there.
I filed for divorce and full custody. The evidence showed Ben had been regularly picking up Lizzy with Sophia’s permission. The court gave me primary custody, and Sophia now has supervised visits. Sophia and Ben were both fired from her company.
It was heartbreaking — I loved Sophia — but she betrayed our family and involved our child. I’m focused now on raising Lizzy with love and strength. We sometimes sit together with Sophia for Lizzy’s sake, but I haven’t forgiven her. I’ll always protect my daughter.
