Yesterday was supposed to be our 3-year anniversary. My boyfriend planned a fancy dinner and hinted at a “special surprise,” so I dressed up, got excited, and imagined a proposal. But at the restaurant he was nervous and distant. When dessert arrived with a message on the plate, I thought it was the moment… until I read, “Congrats on the new baby!” My world stopped.
