A struggling delivery driver agrees to pretend to be an elderly woman’s son so he can afford his sick mother’s medical bills. A man named Tim pays him to visit his mother Rosie in a nursing home and act like the loving son Tim refuses to be.
At first, it’s just a job. But Rosie quickly treats him like family — holding his hand, worrying about whether he’s eating or sleeping enough, and showing him more kindness than he’s felt in years. Over time, he keeps visiting even without payment because he genuinely cares about her.
