President Donald Trump signed the TAKE IT DOWN Act, a federal law targeting revenge porn and AI-generated deepfake intimate images.
The law makes it illegal to share intimate content without consent and requires online platforms to remove reported material more quickly. Violators can face fines and, in some cases, up to two years in prison.
Supporters say the measure strengthens online privacy and protections for victims.
