I loved my wife. We married young, had a baby girl, and I promised to always be there for her. But then, my wife asked for a divorce and full custody. I agreed, not wanting to fight, but things quickly changed. She remarried, and I was shut out of my daughter’s life. Calls went unanswered, and visits were blocked. Then, her new husband told me I’d never see my daughter again. Determined, I hired a lawyer and gathered evidence of broken promises. In court, the judge awarded me shared custody. My ex’s new marriage fell apart, and my daughter started preferring to stay with me. Eventually, I walked away with my daughter, finally free.
